I have Allstate insurance in my 4 vehicles with full coverage road service Included $650 dls a month, a mechanical problem in my 2017 truck i called and requested a towing service at 12:19 pm and i still waiting for the towing 4:30 pm , i called couple times and they give me only excuses 0 0 0 0 0 stars to ALLSTATE.

Car damaged by towing

Allstate Motor Club - Car damaged by towing
Aug 4 2019, my van was towed and damaged by the towing Co. lower front bumper and radiators by a hook or pin, and some part of the frame by the radiator. Van started getting hot when started driving, of course, no antifreeze.I noticed the problem. I called the towing co. and didn’t answer, until next day. Also called the motor club.. Of course they claimed they didn’t do it. Your damage team believe the towing Co. and never came to inspect, I have all evidence pictures. Finally After seven days without us using my van, which we need it, I had to repaired the mechanical to drive the vehicle. I need the cost of repairs Claim # 19/03168

Roadside Assistance nightmare!

Allstate motor club roadside assistance sucks!!! My father has been a loyal Allstate customer for years and has maintained a roadside assistance plan for all of us that entire time. He has rarely needed the service however I have used it many times and been completely and utterly disappointed in them the majority of those times. There have been several instances that I waited more than two hours for service and no one ever came!! Each time I called I was given an addition 45 minutes eta on top of the original. I would eventually become so upset and frustrated that I gave up and paid out of pocket for someone to come help that actually came to help when they said they would. Today I am on the side of the highway between 2 rural areas with a flat tire. I have been here since 11:00 and it is now 12:30. I expected them to be about an hour getting here at the most, but here I am. The current temperature outside is 102 degrees and rising and I am nearly out of gas now having been waiting so long. The company they called to render aid is at least a 2 hour drive to its nearest location which doesn’t make much since to me. I know for certain there are a multitude of other companies that they use that are closer.....why? Do they just dispatch the first provider on the list? Do they not make an effort to check with providers prior to assignment? So frustrated!! I received an automated call from Allstate to confirm my service completion so I let them know that no one has even showed up yet! I was placed on hold then told that they had another customer to attend before they could come to me and it was expected to be another 45 minutes ( which really means another hour and a half). I am livid pissed with Allstates roadside assistance competence. It’s not the wrecker companies responsibility to determine whether they are the best provider to suit the clients needs. They just follow the list of locations to go to. I am going to be even more pissed if I run out of gas waiting for the service provider and have to sit in this heat on the side of a dangerous highway all alone. For the money the members pay every month for this service there should be a more quality experience available. All the surveys and follow up calls in the world can’t improve service if they are not actionable. This is incredibly ridiculous. I forgot to mention that the company they sent to service me has the most awful ratings I have ever seen in my life for any operating business. Not one decent review whatsoever. Come on Allstate, you can do better than this for your customers. People pay for insurance and such services ahead of time in good faith that their loyalty and consistency will pay off on the day they need to use it. People go years without ever needing to use their insurance services, never the less still paying them money that they consider to be an investment. The least you could do is to make sure people receive quality services when they do need to cash in on their benefits!!!! Uggggggggggh Ps.... 1:00 and still sitting here! This monthly membership is a waste of money and time apparently. Allstate claims that their members are “ In Good Hands” but there is nothing comforting about the way they handle their roadside services. The money you pay them to give you “peace of mind” is a joke! Side note: this is the most recent of my many horrific experiences with these people, there are many others. Why my father keeps paying them is beyond my understanding.

Your wait time seems to be rather long, we agree. However, unless you are one of those unwise motorists who purchased a car without a spare tire, this experience may convince you to learn how to change a tire for the future.

Changing a tire was among the first things we taught our children to do as they grew up. When they got their license, they knew how to do it and were not caught unaware---or just sitting along side some road waiting for someone to help them. If you are almost out of petrol, it would appear you are sitting in your car with the A/C on. Best to turn the car off and save the petrol.

And, of course you might want to drop Allstate road assistance and go with AAA.

At the same time, check out AAA insurance rates on the car. You might be surprised at their rates over Allstate's.

Lack of customer service

My car broke down on Sunday, plug in the oil pan had fallen out. Call Allstate @ 2 pm, was told a tow truck would around @3.22 pm, called the provider at 3:30, I was told that he had cancel the service 5 minutes after they received a call from customer service Allstate.

So I called Allstate, ask why I was called to tell me a tow truck wasn't coming. Didn't understand that no one had called me, I had to make the call. I was on hold for over 15 minutes, in the mean time two NYS troopers pulled into the gas station. .

They called a tow truck and was there with in 1/2 hour. I was told by customer service (Allstate) that I would be reimbursed When I called Allstate on Monday I was told that I would only receive $100. Wasn't happy, escalated the call, never received a call from corporate. Called twice to have it escalated.

After waiting several weeks, I canceled my membership. I've been a member since 2014, have used them twice in the past 4 years.

I was on Cape Cod when my truck broke down, they couldn't find a provider, I had to find one again. The lack of customer service and care is terrible.

I would give this company ZERO stars if possible! 1st: Car broke on the Interstate, they send a "link" that doesn't work. Someone on the phone hangs up in the middle of the call. Got towing company myself. 2nd: sent in claim, they misread the date as expired. Sent explanation with original receipt, and they day they didn't receive the letter. Sent everything again (address confirmed!) but they even didn't receive that second letter! Cancelled membership.

She called to get a tow and it took about an hour +to get the car towed. This is not good service that we pay for. If this is the best you can do for a paying customer then we will consider an other service .

they are the worst in road side!!!! i've been trying to get my car towed for 6 days now...they always take more than 5 hours and eventually someone on their end cancels it!!!
